From 1978 to 1987 : Installation and start-up engineer for equipment and mechanical systems in four grain silos (capacity range from 30,000 to 90,000 Tons) and five 200 Tons/day flour mills in Iraq
Responsibility includes Installation and starting up of
1- Mechanical grain lifting and transportation systems
2- Pneumatic conveying systems
3- Bulk weighing systems
4- Grain cleaning systems
5- Grain loading and unloading systems
6- Compressed air systems

From 1987 to 1989 : Studying for M.Sc. Degree.
From 1990 to 1998 : Mechanical engineer in the construction project of the Arab Company for Antibiotic Industries (ACAI) production plant in Baghdad.
The plant has the following production lines
a. Two bottle filling lines for suspensions each with 100 bottle/min capacity
b. Two capsule filling lines each with 120,000 capsule/hour capacity
c. One sterile vial filling line for injectables with 200 vial/min capacity
With the following responsibilities
a. Design of the A/C System of the main controlled temperature store (30x80x12 m height), plus checking for approval of A/C system design for other parts of the plant, including production building, laboratory building, office building and other ancillary buildings.
b. Construction of the A/C systems in the plant
c. Coordination between production utilities designs and production machinery layout.
d. Installation of production machinery.
e. Start-up of A/C system including the sterile room for vial filling.
f. Start up of the A/C control system of the plant
g. Installation and starting up of compressed air unit for the production plant, water distiller (3 m3/ hour) and pure steam generator.

From 1998 to 2003 : Head of maintenance section in the Arab Company for Antibiotic Industries plant
The responsibility was to lead of 5 engineers and 12 technicians to perform the mechanical and electrical/electronic maintenance of all the production equipment in the plant including the sterile room of the vial filling line.
