In 1984 Rafidain Bank commenced its project to computerize all its banking transactions. At that time there were no qualified personnel in programming and system analyst. Therefore, graduates in Mathematical & Statistical Fields and have general knowledge of business and accounting as a background were selected to work on the computer systems. This is how I became involved with the IT system of Rafidain Bank.
I started working at Rafidain Bank in 1983 and still. Here is a summary of the wide variety of roles I have occupied during my employment at Rafidain Bank:

In this role, I have been tasked with driving forward the strategic outlook as well as being on top of day to day operational issues;
My other major focuses is to lead my staff as well as working closely with the business community to ensure that the IT goals are closely aligned with those of the business;
